Hey y'all, I'm Katie! Welcome to my world!
I am a twenty-something daughter of the South, who moved west with the future farmer of her dreams. I am a less-than-trophy wife, young mommy, writer, future midwife, and all around birth junkie/lactivist. I love all things pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and babywearing.
I became obsessed with all things birth and pregnancy after the birth of our daughter, and helping my friend through the birth of her daughter exactly ten months after!
Milk & Nectar is my blog about all things pregnancy, birth, and motherhood... with a little dash of doula care as I help women have their best birth experience out here in west Texas!
I believe that birth is magical, and that women are powerful beyond all measure. With this blog, I hope to inspire, encourage, and support all women who stumble across it - my goal is to sustain and nurture; just like milk and nectar.
